Saturday betting preview
Florida vs. Miami, 7:30 p.m. ET
The two most notable teams in one of the biggest football states in the nation go head-to-head on Saturday night when No. 4 Miami hosts Florida from Hard Rock Stadium. Miami leads the all-time series, 30-27, including a 41-17 victory last year in their first meeting since 2019. Miami was led by future No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward throwing for 385 yards and three touchdowns in that contest, but the Hurricanes replaced Ward with another elite quarterback from the transfer portal, prying Carson Beck from Georgia. Beck had 812 passing yards and seven touchdowns to lead Miami to a 3-0 start.
Meanwhile, Florida (1-2) takes the field off back-to-back losses, including being upset by South Florida two weeks ago, before a 20-10 loss to No. 3 LSU. Miami has won seven of their last 10 head-to-head meetings, and the Hurricanes are 7.5-point favorites in the latest Florida vs. Miami odds at Fanatics Sportsbook, with the over/under set for 50.5 points. Taylor’s rushing yards over/under is listed at 85.5 yards on Sunday at Fanatics Sportsbook.
