Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. is expected to “start eventually,” according to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe.
Why it Matters: Penix is working his way back from a knee injury, but it sounds like he will start as soon as he is ready. Whether or not that is in Week 1 remains to be seen, but even when Penix ends up under center, he hasn’t proven he can consistently be more than a midrange QB2.
