In an exclusive announcement to The Sporting News, the main event for ONE Fight Night 45 on Prime Video this July will feature exciting featherweight Muay Thai action.
The headline bout for the July 17 (United States primetime) event will be Luke Lessei against Mohamed Younes Rabah. The fight will air live on Prime Video from Bangkok with Muay Thai, mixed martial arts, kickboxing and grappling submission matches planned.
Iowa native has made name for himself in Muay Thai
Lessei, nicknamed “The Chef,” hails from Dubuque, Iowa and is part of the Dubuque Martial Arts Group. The 30-year-old has quickly become an emerging star on the Muay Thai scene.
Trained by his father, Lessei turned pro in 2020 and made the decision to branch out and expand his training to better prepare himself for the international fight world. He is looking to rebound from a November 2025 loss to Nico Carrillo after scoring a victory in January 2025 over Cody Jerome.
Lessei previously squared off with the legendary Jo Nattawut and owns a 2-3 record competing for ONE Championship overall.
“The Eagle” will look to soar once more this July
His opponent, “The Eagle,” is 29 years old and from Algeria, training out of Team Mehdi Zatout. Rabah was spotted by French-Algerian standout Mehdi Zatout, bringing him to Thailand to train.
After putting together a 13-0 record, Rabah earned his shot in ONE Championship, stepping in on short notice to take on former ONE title contender Saemapetch Fairtex in December 2023, earning a first round knockout.
Rabah is 2-1 overall, adding a win over Eddie Abasolo to a loss in a rematch with Fairtex and a no-contest vs. Shadow Mavinn in his most recent appearance in July 2025.
