Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles news and links …

Where are the Eagles deep, and not so deep, after the 2026 NFL Draft: Defense edition – PhillyVoice
Interior defensive line. 53-man roster projection: Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Ty Robinson, Byron Young, Uar Bernard. Others: Ta’Quon Graham, Gabe Hall. Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and Moro Ojomo form one of the best interior defensive line trios in the NFL. Thereafter, they have Byron Young, who got legitimate playing time for the first time in his NFL career in 2025 (he was OK), and Ty Robinson, a fourth-round rookie in 2025 who did not see the field much (and did not play well when he did). The Eagles also drafted Uar Bernard, a long, loooong-term project. Are the Eagles in good shape here relative to the rest of the league, depth-wise? That depends on whether or not Robinson can take a significant step forward in 2026. If so, then yes, they’re in good shape. If not, then they’ll be pretty thin after their great starters. We should also note here that if Brandon Graham signs for one more season, he proved last season that he can help on the interior in addition to the edge. After taking a deep look at Robinson’s 2025 tape, it would be wise to re-sign Graham.

8 Eagles things we’ll be watching out for at OTA practices – BGN
The Philadelphia Eagles are moving into “Phase Three” of their offseason workout program with OTA practices beginning on Tuesday, May 26. There’s still no live contact but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are now permitted. The Eagles will soon hold their first spring practice open to media access and I’ll be down at the NovaCare Jefferson Health Training Complex to report back on my observations. Here are some of the keys things I’ll be watching out for.

How Eagles OL Tyler Steen pays tribute to grandfather who was awarded Medal of Honor – The Athletic
Tyler Steen stood at attention in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. It was hours before the Philadelphia Eagles were honored at the White House in April 2025 for winning Super Bowl LIX. Away from the news cameras and political donors, the Eagles made a detour to the burial site for fallen veterans. The player who stepped forward to represent the team during the wreath-laying ceremony was Steen, an offensive lineman who became a full-time starter in 2025. “It was definitely an honor to go do that with the team,” Steen said in a conversation with The Athletic. “But it’s also like, it’s kind of weird, because I didn’t do anything. It was him.” “Him” is Sgt. Rodney M. Davis. Davis served in the 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division in Vietnam in September 1967 when an enemy grenade landed in a trench with his platoon. Davis jumped on top of the grenade. He sacrificed his life by shielding five fellow Marines from impact. Davis was posthumously awarded a Medal of Honor in March 1969 by Vice President Spiro T. Agnew. Back home in Georgia, Davis had two daughters. The youngest, Samantha, was 13 months old when Davis died. She later married Daris Steen, who served 11 years in the Marines. They have three children. The oldest is Tyler, who is entering his fourth season with the Eagles and started every game at right guard last season.

A.J. Brown rumors: NFL insider shares latest on Patriots trade target – MassLive
The Patriots have been connected to the Eagles wide receiver all offseason. And while another team could swoop in and make Philadelphia an offer, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport doesn’t see that happening and believes Brown will end up in New England. “Would I be surprised if it didn’t happen? I think I would be surprised if it didn’t happen,” Rapoport said during an appearance on the “Between the Tackles” podcast. “But, I don’t think either side is there yet and I don’t think either side has spoken about it in some time with each other.”

Eagles’ Michael Clay on his confidence in Elliott, plan for Lemon and more – NBCSP
Happy to stay put? Clay, 34, has been the Eagles’ special teams coordinator since 2021 and is back this season on a new contract. This offseason, Clay interviewed with the Buccaneers before returning to Philly. Clay was asked about that and pointed to the “business” of football, saying he wasn’t close to leaving. Clay has been a pretty good coach over the last five years but sometimes there’s a lack of upward mobility for special teams coordinators. Clay said that’s OK with him. He enjoys getting a chance to speak to the entire team and thinks it’s the closest thing to actually being a head coach. “In special teams, you get to talk to everybody,” Clay said. “I tell people this, if I could do this for another quarter century, then hit the deuces like Brad Seely did in Houston, then I’ll be very happy with my life and how it turned out.” Seely began his NFL coaching career with the Colts in 1989 and also spent time with the Jets, Panthers, Patriots, Browns, 49ers, Raiders and Texans through the 2019 season. He coached special teams the whole time.

3 players Cowboys need to remain healthy in 2026 – Blogging The Boys
LT Tyler Guyton. In two seasons with the Cowboys, Tyler Guyton’s inability to remain healthy has become a concern. While he has flashed the ability to be an above average blindside protector, reoccurring injuries have not only hampered his development, but also his playing time. His lack of availability week in and week out likely lead to the selection of Drew Shelton in this year’s draft. He may be viewed as the future at LT if Guyton can’t keep the injury bug at bay. Whatever the case, Dallas will be much better with No. 60 on the field than off at this year.

Treylon Burks is a wild card in Washington Commanders’ receiver plans – Hogs Haven
His injury history suggests it’s tough to count on him, but he’s an intriguing talent who feels comfortable in Washington. He’s someone to keep an eye on during OTA practices, which begin on Wednesday at the Commanders training complex. This offseason program and training complex offers Burks a real opportunity to reset his career in a new system, with an opportunity to compete for a significant role. This is a prove-it point in Burks’ career. He may not be able to stave off a receiver addition this offseason no matter what he does, but he can show worthy of inclusion in the Commanders offensive game plan. Staying healthy is key as he competes for targets from Jayden Daniels.

6 free agent WRs the NY Giants could pursue who are not Odell Beckham Jr. – Big Blue View
Deebo Samuel. Samuel, 30, is not quite the all-around receiving and rushing weapon he was a few seasons ago, but he is still a productive player. He caught 72 passes for 727 yards (10.1 yards per catch) and five touchdowns last season for the Washington Commanders. Maybe Samuel and third-round pick Malachi Fields are similar, but if Nabers is going to miss time the Giants could use the help.

Carter halts talk of Giants rift after Dart introduces Trump – ESPN
Linebacker Abdul Carter was among New York Giants players Saturday who shut down speculation that quarterback Jaxson Dart’s political views were causing division in the locker room. Dart, the Giants’ second-year starter, introduced President Donald Trump at a pep rally Friday at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York. They were at an event for New York Rep. Mike Lawler about 35 miles northwest of New York City. “Look, Big Blue Nation, it’s a pleasure to be here. I’ve got to start this off with a ‘Go Big Blue.’ I’d love if you all would follow with me,” Dart said before leading the crowd in a chant. “What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here. And without further ado, I’m grateful, I’m honored, I’m pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.”
