The crucial week for Paulo Dybala’s contract renewal has begun.

With just eight days to go until La Joya’s contract expires (June 30), the situation can only whet the appetite of other clubs.

The Argentine star is expected to extend his deal with the Roman club, at significantly lower rates than his current one, for one or two years.

Dybala continues to prioritize Roma and has put Boca Juniors on hold, who are still holding on.

The Argentine club has made some moves in recent days: president Riquelme and coach Arruabarrena have been in contact to convince the Giallorossi number 21 to return to his homeland.

Boca’s interest pleases Dybala, but he has held off. His priority these days is renewing his contract with Roma.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Roman club initially offered a base price of €2 million, later increasing to €2.3 million, against the player’s initial asking price of €3 million.

There’s also the variable component, tied primarily to appearances. The more Dybala plays, the more he’ll earn, adding around €50,000-€60,000 per game. “La Joya” is confident in Gasperini’s esteem, having publicly stated his desire to coach him for at least another season.
