As the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow enters its’ final round Sunday, a former Alabama Crimson Tide golf standout is at the forefront.
Yes, entering Sunday’s final round, Davis Riley is only four shots back of first place, tied for third overall at -7 for the tournament. The leader, Scottie Scheffler, sits at -11 following three rounds of play.
Chasing his first-ever major championship, Riley’s third round at the PGA Championship on Saturday was his best yet, shooting four-under with a 67. This included a phenomenal finish for Riley in which he birdied five of his final 11 holes, as well as posted only one bogey, which came on hole two.
In the first-and-second rounds, Riley posted a score of 71 and 68, respectively.
Riley will be among the final groups to tee-off Sunday afternoon, set to begin his final round at 2:30 p.m. ET.
