New York Giants running back Dante Miller could miss time with an injury suffered Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings.
Giants head coach John Harbaugh said Sunday that “there might be a situation” with Miller, and that it could be “a soft tissue or groin type thing“. Miller had said after the game that he thought it was a lower abdominal issue.

Miller, 27, spent the last two seasons on the Giants’ practice squad. He was active for two games last season, but did not get a carry or pass reception.
Miller appeared to be injured covering a punt in the second half of Saturday’s game. He did return to action, but was clearly uncomfortable in the locker room afterwards.
Miller appeared to have only an outside chance to make the roster, with Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy, and Devin Singletary seemingly locked into spots. Missing time could be the death knell for his roster chances.
Miller carried five times on Saturday for 14 yards (2.8 yards per carry), returned three kickoffs for a 23.0-yard average, and made a tackle after quarterback Brandon Allen threw an interception.
