The Dallas Stars have loaned defenseman Lian Bichsel to the Texas Stars, it was announced Tuesday.
Drafted by the Stars in the first round of the 2022 NHL Draft, Bichsel has seen time in both the NHL and AHL this season, putting up two goals in six games with Dallas and three goals and nine points in 21 games with Texas.
Having come over the North America in 2023-24, Bichsel saw 16 regular season games with Texas, putting up seven points. He also played in 29 games for Rogle BK in the SHL, scoring two goals and adding two assists.
With Bichsel re-assigned to the AHL, he will have the opportunity to play more minutes with Texas. Having looked good in his first stint in the NHL, Bichsel will be an important contributor for Dallas in the future.
