The NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2027 has been selected. Larry Phillips, the legendary short track racer, was selected as part of the Pioneer Ballot. Kevin Harvick and Jeff Burton were voted in on the Modern Ballot.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. gets to be part of the voting panel for the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Just like other voters, he has his own opinions on who should go in, likely makes the case for the people he wants to see voted in, and then he votes.

Dale Jr. gave a small reaction online to each inductee. For Phillips, Earnhardt was happy to see him selected. “He finally got it,” Earnhardt said of Phillips. For Harvick, Earnhardt gave a “Well deserved,” and he kept it even more simple for Burton. “The Mayor!!” Earnhardt posted on social media.
It seems that Dale Jr. is more than fine with these drivers being selected for the Hall of Fame. He raced against Harvick and Burton for years, and as a student and unofficial historian of the sport, you know he’s more than happy to see Phillips recognized.
Of course, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is a Hall of Fame member. He gets three more friends in the most exclusive club in the sport.
