Serie A side Udinese have constantly seen Oumar Solet get linked with a host of clubs in Italy and abroad but it is Crystal Palace who are increasingly keen on the player.
The Frenchman joined Udinese on a free transfer in January 2025 and has been one of their standout players since. He has impressed with his ability on the ball, which led to links to Serie A giants.

Orazio Accomando has now reported that it is Crystal Palace who have swooped in for Solet. They are ready to offer a fee worth €25 million to sign the defender.
The offer is yet to be made but if it does come forward, there is a chance Solet may not feature for Udinese against Monza tomorrow.
The deal could be excellent and even potentially a bargain, as a player of Solet’s ability on the ball and physical traits could thrive in England. That is also a reason why Inter were keen earlier this summer.
Besides, Crystal Palace could soon need a defensive addition and Solet could be a clever addition indeed and he would come at an affordable fee.
