The Dallas Cowboys appear ready for action.
About 30 minutes after news broke that veteran pass rusher Von Miller is expected to join the team, the Cowboys formally announced the news as well, it was reported by ESPN that Dallas is looking into cornerback help as well. Jeremy Fowler mentioned Adoree Jackson as the name to watch here.
Jackson has a history with Cowboys defensive coordinator Christian Parker from CP’s time in Philadelphia. It is worth noting that Von Miller also worked on the same Denver Broncos defense as Parker in 2021, by the way.

If the Cowboys have any weakness right now it is certainly at corner. Cobie Durant has been one of the stars of training camp, and Shavon Revel is coming along as well, but the team is going to need more bodies across the duration of the season.
Whether it is Jackson or not it appears inevitable that Dallas will bring in someone at some point soon. It is fascinating to see how much authority they are giving Parker in that they are bringing in so many people who he has a past with.
