The Mac is back! Conor McGregor returns to the octagon, facing Max Holloway on July 11 at UFC 329.

McGregor (22-6) is one of the most recognizable names in combat sports. He became a two-division champion, brought the UFC to new heights, and even faced Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. While competing sparingly since then, his name still holds value.

The Irish fighter hasn’t competed since breaking his tibia against Dustin Poirier in 2021. While recovering, he’s appeared in movies and has been involved in several court cases and lawsuits. After five years and now competing at welterweight, McGregor is ready to make a statement.

“Weight’s on point, body’s on point, mind’s sharper than ever, plan is laid set, and I’m ready to go to war,” McGregor said via The Associated Press. “I plan to contort Max’s body into such uncomfortable positions and have my way with him.”

Holloway (27-9), a former UFC featherweight and BMF champion, has gone 2-2 in his last four fights. The hard-hitting Hawaiian will look to avenge a loss that he suffered against McGregor in 2013.

The event will also see the entertaining Paddy Pimblett, the rising Lone’er Kavanagh, Robert Whittaker moving in weight, the UFC debut of Gable Steveson, and more on the undercard.
