Week 7 of the 2024 college football season brings some of the most anticipated matchups we have seen all year. It doesn’t get any bigger than No. 2 Ohio State’s trip to No. 3 Oregon at 7:30 p.m. ET in a contest that will go a long way towards deciding both the final Big Ten standings and the seeding for a 12-team College Football Playoff.
But there are plenty of games throughout the day that deserve the same amount of shine. At 3:30 p.m., No. 4 Penn State travels to play USC in a key conference clash. At the same time, top-ranked Texas squares off against No. 18 Oklahoma for the latest installment in the Red River Rivalry — a college football institution that delivers some of the wildest results on an annual basis.
In the evening slate, No. 4 Tennessee returns to Knoxville for the first time in almost a month looking to bounce back against Florida. Then, No. 9 Ole Miss and No. 13 LSU hit the field in what could be a CFP eliminator game.
The nightcap brings a couple of impactful Big 12 games. No. 11 Iowa State looks to stay undefeated on the road against West Virginia, while Colorado has a chance to flex as a legitimate conference contender at home against No. 18 Kansas State.
