A rematch ten years in the making will take place at the Little Caesars Arena on February 22 when Claressa Shields defends her status as the undisputed heavyweight champion against Franchon Crews-Dezurn.
Shields (17-0) is a three-time undisputed champion, holding gold at middleweight, super welterweight, and heavyweight. The two-time Olympic gold medalist beat Lani Daniels at the Little Caesars Arena in July.
A two-time medalist, Crews Dezurn (10-2) is a former undisputed super middleweight champion. Since losing the titles against Savannah Marshall, she has won two straight, winning WBA and WBC gold.
