The Kansas City Chiefs now have three players included in this year’s “NFL Top 100.” Center Creed Humphrey, tight end Travis Kelce and defensive tackle Chris Jones, who was revealed on Friday by the NFL on X.

Jones, whose inclusion marks an eighth-consecutive mention in the yearly “Top 100,” amassed 63 pressures in 17 games last season, which ranked third among all interior defensive linemen. His 25 quarterback hits, 12 tackles-for-loss and seven sacks each led Kansas City in 2025.
He joins center Creed Humphrey (No. 94) and tight end Travis Kelce (No. 79) in this year’s “Top 100.”

The NFL recently announced that, for the sixth consecutive year, all 32 teams will kick off the 2026 preseason with Training Camp: Back Together Weekend. The league-wide celebration will take place Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, with the Kansas City Chiefs providing interactive youth camps and on-field experiences.
The Chiefs are scheduled to hold Kids Zone flag competitions and family activities over the weekend as part of the league-wide initiative. Kansas City is also providing additional community, military, youth football, and diversity-focused programming, supplying Season Ticket Members with pancake breakfasts and team store discounts.

“The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame mourns the passing of 2015 Inductee Bobby Hunt,” the Facebook post read. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.”
Decades before Bo Jackson would become Auburn’s most famous two-way player, Hunt played quarterback and defensive back for the Tigers.
He appeared in 30 games for the Tigers from 1959-61, and threw for 1,185 yards while adding five passing touchdowns in his career.

The plan dictates that Kansas City will take part in another practice of the one hour and 55-minute variety on Saturday, followed by a day off on Sunday and then – at long last – a padded practice on Monday.
As for the Chiefs’ progress so far in the “ramp up,” Coach Reid was pleased following Friday’s practice:
“I liked the competition that was going on today,” said Head Coach Andy Reid. “[There was] great effort. [The] guys were challenging each other on both sides of the ball, which is important [when it comes to] getting better.”

Tony Romo placed on leave by CBS Sports following arrest | ESPN
Romo received three citations from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office following a July 23 traffic stop after he was seen passing cars in a gore area, which separates interstate traffic from cars entering from an on-ramp.
He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, booked and released. The sheriff’s office said Romo had an open container of alcohol in his black Jeep. Court records show Romo was later cited for refusing “to take test for intoxication after arrest.”
