It’s preseason week two for the Chicago Bears and the Cincinnati Bengals!

When these two teams last met in the regular season, the Bears won in a wild 47- 42 game featuring an incredible Caleb Williams-to-Colston Loveland touchdown. The stakes won’t be quite as high tonight, so let’s hope they get in and out with no significant injuries.

Both teams won their respective preseason openers last week, with the Bears sitting most starters and the Bengals playing most of theirs. But this week, with the two teams practicing together on Thursday, the Bengals announced they’ll sit most of their starters, but the Bears made no declaration.

And based on the pregame chatter, it appears the Bears will play some starters. Last year, Caleb Williams played in the first two series of preseason game number two against the Bills, and he was 6 of 10 for 107 yards and a TD pass.

For today’s game, Chicago’s QB2 Tyson Bagent is out with a hamstring issue, which means Case Keenum should get some reps after Williams, and Miller Moss should get a bunch of work, which could pay dividends if he’s looking for a practice squad gig in 2026.

This will be your open thread to discuss the game all night, and as always, our open threads are rated WCG-MA.
