Andy Halliday believes Rangers have the “perfect foils” for new striker Lawrence Shankland in Youssef Chermiti and Ryan Naderi.
Chermiti and Naderi often partnered each other in attack last season, with Shankland set to join up with Rangers’ squad soon after having represented Scotland at the World Cup.

“In Youssef Chermiti and Ryan Naderi, I think it’s two perfect foils for Lawrence Shankland,” former Rangers midfielder Halliday told the BBC’s Scottish Football Podcast.
“Two big athletic players with physical profiles who can do a bit more running than Lawrence Shankland probably can.
“And it allows Lawrence Shankland to stay in the penalty box and in between the goal frame where he’s such a threat.”
