Como have recently submitted an offer to Chelsea in an attempt to sign England international Trevoh Chalobah, but the latest updates confirm that their bid has been turned down by the Premier League side.

€30m not enough for Como to lure Chalobah away from Chelsea

According to reports from various outlets on Saturday, Como had submitted an offer worth a guaranteed €25m plus €5m in easily-achievable bonuses to take the deal up to the €30m mark.

However, according to the latest updates from Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have informed Como that they will need to up their bid beyond the €30m if they are to strike an agreement.

Saturday’s report adds that Como are still weighing up other profiles to strengthen Cesc Fabregas’s back line, but that Chalobah is still keen on the move and is still likely to leave Chelsea this summer.

Inter had also briefly been linked with a move for the Chelsea academy product, but recent reports indicate that they are pursuing a move for Tottenham’s Cristian Romero instead.
