After selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG in the winter transfer window, Napoli are now looking for a big-name replacement. Reports suggest the Serie A side have set their sights on Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho to help fill the gap left by the Georgian winger.

Kvaratskhelia was a standout during his time in Italy, racking up 30 goals and 29 assists in 107 matches. Replacing that kind of output is no small task, but Napoli reportedly believe Garnacho has the talent and potential to take on the role.

According to Fichajes, Garnacho’s future at Old Trafford is up in the air, and Napoli have already submitted an €80 million offer in hopes of bringing the Argentine to Serie A.

With Kvaratskelia gone and Victor Osimhen also linked with a move away, Napoli seem to be heading into a period of transition. Garnacho’s pace, energy, and attacking flair could make him a central piece of the club’s next era.

The Sun reports that Garnacho is eager to join Chelsea in a £50 million move. The Argentina winger would prefer to remain in the Premier League instead of heading to Serie A, where clubs like Napoli are also interested.

Recently, CaughtOffside reports, citing sources, that Aston Villa are among the clubs showing interest in Alejandro Garnacho this summer. The winger is also wanted by his former manager Erik ten Hag, who recently took over at Bayer Leverkusen after being sacked by Manchester United in October last year.

Ten Hag is already facing the possibility of losing star midfielder Florian Wirtz, and he is understood to view Garnacho as a potential replacement. Leverkusen are targeting the Argentine international on a loan deal, but Manchester United reportedly prefer a permanent transfer.
