After a short holdout, Los Angeles Chargers rookie Tre Harris has agreed to terms on his rookie deal, per multiple reports.
As a slew of second-round picks held off from signing their rookie contracts, Harris became the first official holdout this week. The wide receiver was set to report to training camp on Saturday in El Segundo, California, with other Chargers rookies, but did not show up.

But now, Harris has agree to terms and will sign his rookie contract with L.A., joining many second-rounders who are ending their standoff.
Until Wednesday, only two of the 32 players chosen in the second round had signed contracts with their teams. Those two players, linebacker Carson Schwesinger (pick No. 33) and wide receiver Jayden Higgins (No. 34), both signed unprecedented, fully guaranteed deals in May.
As a result, the remaining 30 players held off on signing, seemingly with the fully guaranteed aspect in mind. San Francisco 49ers rookie Alfred Collins, the No. 43 pick, broke the stalemate first by signing a four-year, $10.3 million deal on Wednesday; that deal includes more than $9 million guaranteed.
Since then, the number of signed second-rounders has risen from two to nine, as of Thursday afternoon.

The Chargers have the earliest rookie camp start date of any team in the NFL, with other teams joining them throughout the week. Eleven more rookie camps will begin this weekend, giving some of those second-rounders just a few days before they go from being unsigned players to holdouts.
All NFL players will be expected to be in camp by July 23, marking another deadline for potential holdouts.
