The NASCAR Truck Series competed at North Wilkesboro Speedway, and it was a thrilling event. Ty Majeski won Stage 1, while Layne Riggs won Stage 2; however, neither driver was able to enter victory lane. Instead, it was a Front Row Motorsports driver who pulled off a historic victory.

Chandler Smith and the No. 38 team for Front Row Motorsports won Saturday’s race at North Wilkesboro, earning his second victory of the 2026 Truck Series season. Smith pulled away at the start of the Final Stage and didn’t look back. The driver of the No. 38 truck won by over eight seconds, marking the largest margin of victory on a short track in series history.

Smith has been close to winning over the last two months, but bad luck and unfortunate incidents took him out of contention. Now, the Front Row Motorsports driver is back in victory lane. If Saturday’s performance at North Wilkesboro is any indication, Smith is firmly in the hunt to compete for a NASCAR championship this fall.
