The high school girls golf regular season is winding down, with the first sectional tournaments beginning Sept. 22.

That means it is time to help us select The Dispatch’s 2025 regular-season girls golfer of the year from the nine nominees below. Golfers were nominated by their coaches.

After reading their bios, scroll down to the ballot and cast your vote. You can vote once per hour.

Voting will conclude at 4 p.m. Sept. 23. Please do not email your votes; they will not count.

In addition, look for the annual girls golf All-Metro team in November.

Bella Anderson, Worthington Kilbourne

The senior averaged 69.33 in the OCC-Capital tournament, including rounds of 68 at Blacklick Woods and Oakhaven and a 68 to win the season-opening Big Walnut Golden Eagle Ladies Invitational. She also has played in several national events this fall, including a 9-under par performance to win the Northwest Arkansas Junior.

Amelia Buettner, Olentangy Orange

The freshman has golfed in the No. 1 spot all season for the Pioneers, averaging 70.6. She has won seven tournaments with four rounds in the 60s – 67 at Cumberland Trail and Oakhaven and 68 at Blacklick Woods and Turkeyfoot – and has finished in the top five 13 times in 15 events.

Elle Furrow, New Albany

The senior and Grand Valley State commit has averaged 73.7 during a schedule that has seen the Eagles compete in several top-tier tournaments. Furrow is a four-time medalist this season and three-time Division I state qualifier. New Albany entered the week of Sept. 14 with a 124-20 record.

Jodie Han, Olentangy

The sophomore owns central Ohio’s best round this fall, a 61 during the Olentangy Invitational on Sept. 4 at Oakhaven. Han has scored in the 60s during all eight tournaments this season – she has five wins and three runner-up finishes – and is averaging 65.6. She won the OCC-Cardinal tournament with an average of 64.7.

Caylee Lattimer, Newark Catholic

The senior averaged 73.86 in her first seven events, including rounds of 73, 74 and 76 and 71 in the Licking County League tournament. She has won the Panther and Utica invitationals, finished third in two more tournaments and carded a program-record 32 on the back nine in the final round of the LCL tournament Sept. 16.

Eva Lim, Columbus Academy

The junior and defending Division II state champion averaged 36.1 per nine holes, including a 32 in a dual match against Bexley at Blacklick Woods. Lim’s 18-hole best this season is a 71 in Pickerington North’s Panther Invitational, and she won the Worthington Invitational at Brookside with an even-par 72.

Maura Nye, Watterson

A junior, Nye averages 37 in nine-hole matches and 77 in 18-hole events. Her best nine-hole round is a 2-under par 33 at Worthington Hills. Nye has three top-five tournament finishes this fall.

Nikitha Suresh, Dublin Jerome

A sophomore and the No. 1 golfer for last year’s Division I state runners-up, Suresh averages 71.8 with nine of 15 rounds at par or better. Suresh has low rounds of 66, 67 and 68 and has not finished worse than sixth in any event this season.

Meadow Tian, Olentangy

A senior and lllinois commit, Tian has scored in the 60s in 10 of her 11 18-hole rounds this fall with an average of 68.2. Her low is a 64 in the Celtic Hope Invitational on Sept. 15. Last year’s Division I state individual runner-up, Tian was OCC-Cardinal runner-up (66.7) this season and has won two tournaments with six runner-up finishes – five of those to Han.
