The Chicago Bulls capped off their first of two three-peats during the 1992-93 NBA season. To celebrate the achievement, the team created a championship banner to hang in the rafters at Chicago Stadium, where the Bulls played in the early ‘90s.

That particular banner is now up for auction. It went live on Grey Flannel Auctions on Thursday, and will remain up for auction until June 14. The banner’s opening price was $1,000, but has already jumped to over $1,400 after multiple bids came in.

The banner, which comes with a certificate of authenticity, hung in the Chicago Stadium rafters until 1994, the final year the stadium was in use.

The Bulls moved to the United Center for the 1994-95 NBA season, where the team hung new banners celebrating their championship years. The team added to those pretty quickly, turning in another three-peat that started during the 1995-96 season and ended after the 1997-98 season.

The Chicago Stadium banner up for auction is listed in “excellent” condition. Time has caused it to take on a slightly off-white color. The banner also features some “minor thread pulls,” per the listing, though that’s to be expected considering its age.

The Bulls surged early in the playoffs during the 1992-93 NBA season, winning their first seven games to advance to the Eastern Conference finals, where they took on the New York Knicks. The Bulls actually lost the first two games of that series before rallying to win four straight games and advance to the NBA Finals.

The Bulls eventually won that series, beating the Phoenix Suns in six games. The series ended on a fantastic play from the Bulls, in which John Paxton drained a game-winning three with just seconds left to play to give the team a one-point win.
