Bubba Wallace Reacts To NASCAR Driver Leaving Team After 2025 originally appeared on The Spun.

There’s going to be quite a shakeup in NASCAR next season as No. 99 Daniel Suarez is slated to leave Trackhouse Racing by mutual agreement. Many NASCAR fans and even his fellow drivers are lamenting the state of affairs.

“Trackhouse and I have mutually agreed to part ways at the end of the 2025 season. I’ve had some of the best years of my Cup Series career at Trackhouse. We had great successes as a team and I gained some incredible friends…” Suarez announced on Tuesday.

“I wish Trackhouse nothing but the best, this 99 team will always be special to me. And like I always say, The best is ahead!”

NASCAR fans have already made their disappointed thoughts known. Joining the fray earlier this afternoon was 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace.

Taking to X, Wallace said he looks forward to the rest of the year to have some fun racing against him.

“Love you amigo. Lots of races left this year. Let’s have some fun!” Wallace wrote.

Suarez’s fans greatly appreciated Wallace showing respect to their beloved driver:

“Lowkey, gained some massive respect and liking from me with this. Real friend right here!” one fan replied.

“Thank you for the pep talk, Bubba. Let’s all have some fun this summer!” wrote another.

“This hurts!! Your amigos will follow wherever you go!” a third wrote.

Some have even suggested that 23XI Racing pick Suarez up since he doesn’t have a car yet for next season.

In five seasons with Trackhouse Racing, Suarez won the only two races of his NASCAR Cup Series career. He enjoyed a career-best 10th-place finish in 2022 and finished 12th in 2024.

His time with Trackhouse has also included 12 top-five finishes and won pole at the 2023 Verizon 200.

While Suarez hasn’t won a race this year, he enjoyed a second-place finish at the Pennzoil 400 in Las Vegas and back-to-back top-10 finishes in Talladega and Texas Motor Speedway a few weeks later.

Suffice it to say, Suarez is still racing at a high-enough level where he probably won’t be looking for work long after his departure.
