Bryson DeChambeau’s future with LIV Golf remains up in the air right now.
Whether LIV Golf survives past the end of this current season or not, DeChambeau has made no secret of his desire to play in PGA Tour events.

The 32-year-old left the PGA Tour in order to join LIV Golf back in June 2022.
It’s fair to say that Bryson DeChambeau has become one of the biggest sporting stars on the planet since his move to LIV Golf.
The two-time major champion has taken on a new persona since leaving the PGA Tour, with his content creation on YouTube playing a huge part in his life.

As things stand, DeChambeau’s future with LIV Golf is far from certain, after Saudi Arabia’s PIF announced back in April that they would not be funding the league after the end of the 2026 season.
However, LIV Golf has now secured new investment for the 2027 season and beyond, according to Scott O’Neil at least.

And DeChambeau has made it clear how he wants a future whereby players are allowed to compete on both LIV and the PGA Tour.

DeChambeau’s silence on LIV’s apparent new investment was rather worrying for fans of the league.
However, he has now broken that silence and explained what he would like to see happen in the future.
While speaking to the New York Post, DeChambeau made it very clear that he wants to play golf both on the PGA Tour and on LIV.
“Personally, I’d love to be able to play events on the PGA Tour, too,“ DeChambeau said.

“I think that’s best for golf. I’d love that.

“It’s not an either/or mentality. It’s ‘can we do both?’ I think that’s where everybody wants to be.
“There isn’t a golf fan on the planet who doesn’t want to see me play a big Tour event, and I get that. I’d love to go play events that make sense, love to play team golf, and love to play wherever they’ll let me.“
Bryson DeChambeau gives percentage chance that LIV Golf has a future
According to the New York Times, DeChambeau is ‘100 percent’ sure of LIV Golf’s future.
LIV may well carry on into 2027 and beyond.
However, it will almost certainly operate on a completely different level financially.

Purses may well drop, while the number of events played each season are set to decrease.
Bryson DeChambeau clearly wants the whole pie, rather than just pieces of it. He wants to play on the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
However, considering the fact that he burned his bridges by suing the PGA Tour and rejecting their one-time offer of a return back in February, it’s hard to imagine a scenario whereby he will be allowed to compete on both tours.
