Brooke Henderson trailed by four when she stepped onto the eighth tee Sunday at the Amundi Evian Championship, having just eagled the previous hole.
Henderson’s tee shot from 169 yards found the bottom of the cup for an ace, and by the time leader Haeran Ryu walked off the green with bogey, the lead had been cut to one.

After those back-to-back eagles, Canada’s winningest golfer added a third eagle on the par-5 18th to force a playoff against Ryu. Though she didn’t go on to win a second Evian title, Henderson’s hole-in-one did rank No. 1 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Monday morning on ESPN.
Henderson is the second player in LPGA history to record three eagles in the final round of any tournament, according to stats guru Justin Ray. Jane Park was the first to do it at the 2017 Women’s British Open at Kingsbarns.
