According to multiple reports, including The Denver Post’s Parker Gabriel, the Denver Broncos are signing offensive lineman Reid Holskey and defensive back Blake Cotton. Both players participated as tryout players during the Broncos’ most recent minicamp practices and have now earned themselves a contract from the Broncos.
To make room for Holskey and Blake Cotton, the Broncos have waived guard Nash Jones and undrafted rookie cornerback Amari Harvey, according to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis.
Reid Holskey is a 6-6, 306-pound offensive tackle who signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans last season. He would be released by the Texans prior to the start of the season and eventually sign on to the New York Giants practice squad, where he stayed throughout the year. He would re-sign with them as a futures player, but would be released in late May of this year. He was among the players who were tryout players during the Broncos minicamp practices this week and showed enough to the team that they have now signed him to their 90-man roster.

Holskey will compete with the rest of the Broncos’ offensive tackles for a spot on their 53-man roster, or more realistically, their practice squad.
As for cornerback Blake Cotton, he is another former Utah Utes player joining the Denver Broncos roster. He went undrafted during the 2026 NFL Draft and participated in the Carolina Panthers rookie minicamp in May, but was not signed. He would then attend the Denver Broncos minicamp practices this week as a tryout player and finally earned himself an NFL contract.
Cotton is a 6-2, 195-pound cornerback who ran a 4.65 40-yard dash and had a 34.5-inch vertical. This past year for Utah, he had 30 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, and 7 pass deflections. Now, he joins a loaded Denver Broncos cornerback room looking to make their practice squad.
This week, the Broncos have added two former UFL players and now two new tryout players to their roster. They are continuing to look for talent and giving longshot players a chance to live out their NFL dream and possibly become a diamond in the rough and crack their 53-man roster.
