Anyone with kids knows how much your life changes when you welcome your first child.
49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who along with his wife Jenna, welcomed their first child, Millie Joleen Purdy, last weekend, is learning – and getting some advice from his teammates along the way.
“There have been so many guys in the locker room,” Purdy told reporters when asked who’s given him the best advice on fatherhood. “I think [49ers punter] Thomas Morstead has been pretty cool to ask questions to. I think he’s got like five kids and just his experience with playing in the NFL, but also making his family a priority and how he’s raised his kids has been pretty cool to hear about.
“A bunch of other guys have had kids recently in the past couple years, Fred [Warner] and Jake Brendel, so it’s been cool to just sort of pick everybody’s brain. It’s been awesome.”
As if Purdy’s offseason wasn’t busy enough with the new contract, adding a baby girl to the mix is sure to keep the $265-million dollar man busy.
