BREAKING: Prajanchai vs Jon Di Bella title rematch set to headline ONE Fight Night 36

One of the best kickboxing bouts of 2025 will take place on October 3rd, 2025 in ONE Championship.

In a rematch of their hard-fought 2024 matchup, Prajanchai P.K.Saenchai and Jonathan Di Bella will rematch to unify their division’s kickboxing title.

These two spectacular strikers have proven themselves over the last few years to be head and shoulders ahead of the other ONE strawweight strikers, both in kickboxing and Muay Thai.

However, their first fight was far from conclusive, only a hotly debated decision handed Muay Thai champion Prajanchai his second concurrent belt, though he has also held stadium titles in Lumpinee and Rajadamnern.

Di Bella and many fans believed the Italian-Canadian had done enough to beat the Thai legend with his strong start through three rounds, but Prajanchai managed to take over in the championship rounds.

The rematch could be an even better fight, with the benefit of an extra year for the 28-and-30-year-olds to hone their skills and prepare for each other.

Two months before that fight. Di Bella also dealt with the added obstacle of an unsuccessful weight cut that left him so drained that he had to be hospitalized and lost his belt.

With his body in peak condition, perhaps Di Bella performs better than ever and force a trilogy fight, perhaps the best outcome as far as action is concerned.

Yet it will be no easy task to defeat one of the most decorated fighters alive today in Prajanchai, who has over 340 wins in his combat sports career.

However Jon has already pulled off a similar task, defeating the admittedly aged Sam-A Gaiyanghadao for the interim belt in his last outing, while Prajanchai defeated a much lower caliber of fighter in Ellis Barboza.

No matter who wins, the striking skills and athletic abilities on display promise to be top notch in this main event from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, with streaming and coverage available through Amazon Prime Video. 

And when the dust settles, only one man will be left with a massive golden belt wrapped around him.
