New general manager for the Miami Dolphins — Jon-Eric Sullivan — has been very clear this offseason about his intention to keep running back De’Von Achane in an aqua and orange uniform for the foreseeable future. On Wednesday night, he made good on those intentions — inking the 24-year-old ball-carrier to a new contract that will tie Achane to the Dolphins for an additional four seasons.

According to ESPN’s Marcel Louis Jacques, Achane and the team agreed to terms on a 4-year, $64 million extension, with bonuses that could push the deal up to $17 million per season if certain conditions are met.
