It’s the battle of the Borussias on Matchday 32 as Borussia Mönchengladbach host Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening with plenty still on the line for the Foals.
Sitting 11th, Eugen Polanski’s men can secure their Bundesliga status this weekend should they beat Dortmund and St. Pauli fail to beat Mainz, or if they draw with Dortmund, St. Pauli lose and Wolfsburg fail to win in Freiburg.

Kevin Diks is excepted to replace Fabio Chiarodia in Gladbach’s back three while Lukas Ullrich will come in for the suspended Jens Castrop, who was sent off in last weekend’s 0-0 draw against Wolfsburg. Die Fohlen’s attack is expected to remain unchanged and in positive news, Robin Hack has suffered any kind of reaction following a long injury lay-off and his return vs VfL.
“I was absolutely delighted,” Hack said of his return. “Being back out on the pitch after such a long time was special. I’d missed it. My last proper appearance was in mid-September, so it really had been a long time.”
As for Borussia Dortmund, they confirmed UEFA Champions League football for next season following their 4-0 win against Freiburg on Matchday 30.
Young Italian Luca Reggiani is expected to come in for Ramy Bensebaini, who is doubtful with a foot injury, while Yan Couto is ill. Impressively, Samuele Inácio is expected to retain his place while Carney Chukwuemeka should get the nod ahead of Julian Brandt.
