We’ve included a variety of World Seeds in this article, ranging from beginner-friendly picks to choices that prioritize long-term success.
Some of them are much trickier than others to find your feet with, too, so make sure to keep our dos and don’ts table in mind when choosing which one to use. The first one we’ve picked out below can be hugely lucrative, for example, but it requires a lot of upfront effort.
Picking a World Seed will dictate which random events take place in your game for the most part, based on RNG in the game’s code. It doesn’t limit you in terms of what choices you can make while playing, though, so you can still create your dream farm and carve out your own story however you like.

269733094 requires a lot of work initially, but it’s well worth it if you want a great start without the game feeling too unfair. Some of the Stardew Valley World Seeds do feel a little weighted in the player’s favor, so if you want a fun but balanced experience, use this one.
First, go to your farm and plant as many seeds as possible. Prepare by clearing a good chunk of your land, which will be critical later. Plant seeds in the first two to three days after clearing out your farm. You don’t need to water the crops. Just keep planting and clearing space.
On Spring 3, the Crop Fairy will appear. You usually get a complete harvest from your seeds when she’s done, although the effects are random. Planting many seeds will help you make a lot of money, which can help you access top-tier gear and items down the line.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Crop Fairy, this is a random event that triggers a cutscene after the player goes to bed. 270192222 is an interesting World Seed, as the Crop Fairy arrives on the first night. It’s different from the first Seed we shared, but still offers a great early-game advantage.
Since the Crop Fairy comes to you on the first night, you can speed up planting and maximize your earning potential. The following morning, you can harvest whatever you planted on day one, making a tidy profit and setting you up for success.
The process may seem the same until you realize regrowth cycles are involved. 500g is enough to plant eight Bean Starters, which take 10 days to grow, but the Crop fairy will take care of that for you. The Green Beans will grow every three days, allowing you to earn even more money.
During your first season, you can harvest your Green Beans nine times if you harvest them on day two. If you could only afford the eight Bean Starters, that’s a minimum of 2,880g and a maximum of 5,760g. If you’re a new player, we’d recommend checking this World Seed out.

This one is a combination of the World Seeds above. This World Seed has the Crop Fairy visit on the third night, so use the same tactic as the first entry in this list.
The difference is you’re guaranteed to get a meteor event and a Stone Owl in your first season. As a cherry on top, the Crop Fairy will reappear on Fall’s first night.
The meteor is guaranteed to land on your farm, even though it usually occurs randomly. You can loot meteors for normal geodes, iridium ore, and stones. You will also get a Stone Owl that’s unrelated to the Stone Owl sold at the Night Market. Stone Owls appear randomly on farms; many claim there’s less than a one-percent chance of seeing one.
As for the Crop Fairy, follow the tactic from the first World Seed in our list for the initial appearance, and use the strategy from the second World Seed for the fall appearance.
Using the money you gain from the first strategy, even if you only get the minimum amount, you can reinvest it to earn at least 8,280g, and at most, 16,560g.

As soon as you start, your first step should be to head north from your farm to Linus’ tent. You will see some worms in the dirt in front of his tent. Use your hoe to till the worms in the ground and pick up five Ancient Seeds.
Ancient Seeds are rare and have less than a two percent chance of appearing in the Traveling Merchant’s inventory, so this is a magical early-game find.
While it may be tempting to give away the Ancient Seeds as gifts to your favorite NPCs, they can be used for even better purposes. Hold onto them until the moment is right.
Donate one of the Ancient Seeds to Gunther at the Museum. You’ll get a pack of Ancient Seeds in return that you can plant, and a recipe to make more Ancient Seeds. You can use the other four seeds to make four more packs of Ancient Seeds and plant them on the same day.

How World Seeds work in Stardew Valley
Every time you start a new game in Stardew Valley, a World Seed will be randomly assigned to you. This Seed dictates what will happen in your game, including every random event that takes place during the playthrough.
