The 41st Nicklaus Junior Championship, one of Florida’s top golf tournaments for teenagers, took place June 23 and 24 at Tequesta Country Club.
Charlie Woods, son of legendary golf star Tiger Woods, and Kai Trump, the eldest granddaughter of President Donald J. Trump, placed among the leaders at the tournament, with Woods finishing sixth place and Trump tied for 21st in their respective divisions.
The event drew boys and girls from across Florida and featured local standouts such as girls division winner Reese McMillan of Jupiter and second-place finisher Bella Simões from greater Lake Worth Beach.
The elder Woods, a Jupiter Island resident, walked the course with his son during the competition.
