It’s been brilliant, quite honestly, as Richard Hughes and co. perform minor miracles. But their best and most important deal might be next.
TalkSport reports that Liverpool will hand a new contract to Ryan Gravenberch. The Dutchman has been world-class for the last year-and-a-bit now, catapulting him into the truly elite bracket of midfielders.
It’s a far cry from the player Liverpool bought. Gravenberch struggled for any minutes with Bayern Munich and many were against taking a £35m chance on the player.
Jurgen Klopp had him playing well but Arne Slot has transformed his compatriot into a sensational holding midfielder. One who is proving decisive in big games.
