The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up to host the Chicago Bears for their second preseason game of the year. We saw the starters shortly in their first game vs. Detroit. We may see that again this time around, though both teams will hold a joint practice together, so one way or another, both teams’ starters will get a crack at each other this week.
While we saw some interesting things from the starters, the rookies truly stole the show. Seventh-round tight end Jack Endries scored a touchdown and had a nice YAC reception where he made a few defenders miss.

Cashius Howell had quite a few quality rushes, but it was Landon Robinson who shined at defensive tackle. Robinson forced the offense into a clear holding call after blowing through the line as well as getting half a sack.
Wide receivers Colbie Young and Dohnte Meyers led the team in receiving yards. Both had some plays to show off why they’ve been the talk of training camp so far.
Eyes will be on all of those guys to make more of a push for roster spots and to move up the depth chart.
