All the fighters on tonight’s GBM Sports: ON THE EDGE event made weight at the official pre-fight weigh-ins for Saturday night’s airing live on DAZN at 7pm from Sheffield’s Canon Medical Arena.
Former world title challenger Sean McComb 19-2 (5 KO’s) challenges for the IBF European Super-Lightweight Championship held by Ben Crocker (14-0-1, 2 KO’s) on September 27 and expects a top 10 world ranking if victorious.
Luon’s Tysie Gallagher (9-2) places her three titles – British, Commonwealth and WBO International – on the line against the undefeated southpaw Ellie Hellewell (7-0,1 KO), 25 from Yorkshire, in what will be a hard-fought contest.
And hotly-tipped Dutch light-heavyweight prospect Gradus Kraus (7-0, 7 KO’s) – a protege of Peter Fury – takes a huge step up as he takes on Scotland’s Scott Forrest (7-1, 4 KO’s), a heavy-hitting powerhouse from Edinburgh with many appearances on UK TV screens.
Forrest had been booked for a card in Dubai tomorrow night but negotiated a move to the GBM card when Kraus’ original opponent pulled out on short notice, with Forrest jetting in on Thursday night for what will be guaranteed fireworks.
The main card airs live and exclusively from 7pm on DAZN.

Quotes
Ben Crocker: “Sean McComb is a great fighter. He’s a slick, awkward southpaw and he’s undeniably world level, so this is a massive fight for me. Beating him will open so many doors for me and push me on to bigger fights and bigger opportunities. I’ve got my eyes on the prize. I’m going to go in there and get the job done, simple as that.”
Sean McComb: “I see a clear pathway to the world title starting in Sheffield on September 27th against Ben Crocker. The IBF European Championship is on the line and a win should see me enter the rankings top ten, where I’ve already got an amateur win over Lindolfo Delgado. He’s ranked #3 now, so maybe me and him could rematch in a world title eliminator for a shot at Richardson Hitchins. So we’re in touching distance here.
“First I have to beat Ben Crocker, so all my focus is on that. I like what I’ve seen of him – he’s a tall, rangy southpaw and he likes to finish last in every exchange. It’s a good style, but I’ll figure it out and I’ll get the win. I think our styles match well to make a good fight for the fans and a really important fight for my career.”
