The Belleville Senators have recalled forward Jake Chiasson from the Orlando Solar Bears, it was announced Monday.

Drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft, Chiasson has seen four games with Belleville and four games with the Solar Bears, although he has yet to register a point on the season.

Having turned pro in 2023-24, Chiasson saw time with the Bakersfield Condors (pointless in one game) and the Fort Wayne Komets (20 points in 68 games).

Acquired in the trade that saw the Oilers get Roby Jarventie, Chiasson will have another opportunity to potentially stick in the AHL. Having proven to be a solid point producer in the past, Chiasson shouldn’t be held off the scoresheet much longer.
