The NFL’s 2026 preseason slate is finally complete as the Chicago Bears outscored the Tennessee Titans 24 to 15. But most importantly for Chicago, they escaped without any significant injuries.
UPDATE: Running back Brittain Brown did leave the game with a concussion.

I appreciate the effort from the players in the final preseason game because many understand this could be their last time ever suiting up in the National Football League. Over a thousand players league-wide will be cut before tomorrow’s deadline.

OMG ZAVION THOMAS IS FAST
Tyson Bagent had a really nice game, showing exactly why the Bears signed him to a contract extension **checks notes** last year. If you watched the Tennessee feed on NFL Network, you know what I mean.
Bagent played the first half, and he went 16 of 17 for 208 yards, 2 touchdowns, and a passer rating of 156.9, with 2 runs for 21 yards. He also had a bad exchange with Zavion Thomas on a jet sweep.
ZAVION THOMAS ALMOST DID IT AGAIN
Zavion Thomas had 5 catches for 140 yards, including that 97-yard TD, plus a 39-yard kick return and a 22-yard punt return.

The Bears led 14 to 9 at the half, and when the Bears opened the third quarter, it was J.T. Barrett, Chicago’s QB coach, who was calling plays for the offense.
Bears rookie Jordan van den Berg had a nice bull rush on this play, and UDFA Jayden Loving looked good too.
The Bears open the regular season on the road against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, September 13.
