Despite enduring one of the most frustrating campaigns of his time in Spain, La Vanguardia reports that Barcelona have no intention of parting ways with Raphinha this summer.
The Brazilian winger has experienced a difficult 2025/26 season filled with injuries and inconsistency, but internally, the club’s position remains completely unchanged.

Barcelona still see Raphinha as a vital part of the project being built under Hansi Flick, and the message coming from the club’s leadership is that the player is not on the market.
Raphinha’s latest setback arrived back in March while on international duty with Brazil, marking his third injury of the season.
Those recurring physical problems have severely disrupted his rhythm throughout the campaign and prevented him from building the same momentum he enjoyed last year.
To put it in perspective, after producing the best season of his Barcelona career in 2024/25 with 34 goals across all competitions, Raphinha has managed 19 goals this season.

Although it is still a respectable return, it is a noticeable drop compared to the standards he had set previously.
So what now?
Raphinha’s availability has also been a major issue for Flick, with the Brazilian having already missed 19 matches this season.

Even in some matches where he was available, Barcelona handled him carefully to avoid aggravating his condition further, like the one against Osasuna.
Despite the setbacks, Raphinha’s importance within the dressing room has remained untouched.
The winger is viewed as one of the squad’s leaders, particularly because of the influence he has over Barcelona’s younger players.

That is why the club has no interest in weakening the attack by allowing him to leave.
The Saudi interest
Barcelona are aware that interest from abroad will continue, particularly from Saudi Arabia, where Raphinha already received lucrative approaches last year.
Even so, neither the player nor the club are considering a separation at this stage. The Brazilian recently extended his contract until 2028, reinforcing the belief that both sides remain fully committed to each other.
At the moment, only one scenario could change Barcelona’s plans – if Raphinha himself asked to leave.
But according to the report, that possibility is not being discussed.
