Hansi Flick has made a strong statement in his first season at Barça, winning the double and also winning over the hearts of the fans. Dani Olmo is also impressed with the former German national coach.
“He’s a friendly coach with clear ideas. He knows what he wants, how we should play,” the Barça star said in an interview with ‘Mundo Deportivo’. Flick is a coach “who wants to dominate, have the ball, attack and win. You could say he has the Barça DNA.”
Olmo also revealed that Flick is a demanding coach who values punctuality. And what happens when the coach gets angry? “He mostly speaks Spanish when he’s not angry. When he gets angry, he speaks English,” the Barça star added. However, his exchange with his assistant coaches is in German.
At least Flick didn’t have much reason to be angry with his players in the past season. The Barça stars will be hoping it continues that way in the new season.
