Bad Birdie Golf was born when founder Jason Richardson launched the company from his Los Angeles home in 2017. Having zero apparel background, Richardson wandered the L.A. garment district, frequented fabric stores and figured on his own out how to make polo shirts and how the whole process worked.
Now, the company has introduced its new spring/summer line for 2025. As part of the PGA of America’s 2025 Merchandise Summit in Frisco, Texas, Golfweek spent time with a number of golf brands, including Bad Birdie.
Danny Corrali, an account executive for the company, showed off the company’s new top layer with zipper function, and women’s golf shorts with tech features and multiple pockets. These products have been selling well on their e-commerce website and will now be available for wholesale.
