The Gunners have spent the last couple of weeks in negotiations with Sporting CP over a deal for Gyokeres, who is now set to sign after an agreement was reached.

Arsenal have identified Eze as a vital addition to bolster their attacking options, largely due to his creative spark. The 27-year-old is capable of operating as a number ten or on the wings.

Eze was a standout performer for Palace during their historic 2024/25 season when they won the FA Cup. He scored a joint personal best of 14 goals across all competitions.

His contract includes a release clause of around £68 million, which Palace are adamant must be met in full before an exit can be sanctioned.

However, Arsenal are reportedly hoping to do a deal around £60m and are open to including players to facilitate the move.

While Eze has interest from elsewhere, a move to the Emirates Stadium is his priority at the moment, as Arsenal have already had positive talks with the player’s camp.

Eze started his football career at Arsenal before being released when he was thirteen.

He has since developed into one of the Premier League’s most coveted players and could be rewarded with a return to the club.
