In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Arsenal are ready to finalise a move for Aston Villa playmaker Morgan Rogers. It has been mentioned that the Gunners are prepared to intensify their efforts to land the English talent in this summer transfer window.
Rogers’ Impressive Form In English Football
Rogers has enjoyed another impressive campaign at the Midlands club as he has put in a series of eye-catching displays for them in the final third. He deserves a ton of credit for helping the Villans secure the UEFA Europa League trophy recently. The 23-year-old has found the back of the net 14 times and earned 12 assists in 55 matches for Aston Villa this season across multiple competitions.

The English attacker is currently one of the best playmakers in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that the Gunners are showing interest in recruiting him in this summer transfer window.
His current contract at Villa Park will run out in the summer of 2031, which could make it tough for Arsenal to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Should Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta Get Rogers On Board?
Rogers is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few impressive runs with it in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He can shoot the ball with power from long range and has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates to find the back of the net.

The English talent is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also fill in as a wide player on either flank if asked to do so. He already knows the Premier League well and won’t take much time to settle into life at Arsenal.
We can expect Rogers to enhance the quality of Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming seasons.
At 23, Rogers has got his best years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Gunners to pursue this summer. He might even help Arsenal compete for some major silverware over the next few years. Therefore, Arteta should focus on getting him on board this off-season.
