The refereeing was at the center of yet another controversial moment in the Brasileirão this Wednesday (8).

This time, it happened during the match between Mirassol and Fluminense in the interior of São Paulo.

The Tricolor managed to find the back of the net at the 31st minute of the first half in a play that, at first, had no irregularities pointed out by the referee.

Canobbio managed to win the ball back for Fluminense in the defensive half and started the move that ended with a beautiful chip shot by Lucho Acosta.

However, VAR called the on-field referee, indicating a foul that was allegedly committed by the Uruguayan forward when gaining possession.

Rodrigo José Pereira de Lima went to the monitor and changed his decision, disallowing the goal.

During the Premiere broadcast, former referee Paulo Cesar de Oliveira assessed that there was indeed a foul on Danielzinho.

A few minutes later, Mirassol opened the scoring with a header from Guilherme Marques.
