The Rose were without Brittney Sykes, who sat out the loss with a leg injury.
Azurá Stevens led the Rose with 19 points off the bench, but the team was unable to overcome a 32-point outing from New York Liberty and Phantom star Sabrina Ionescu.
Ionescu finished the outing having gone 11-of-18 from the field while adding nine rebounds and eight assists to help the Phantom pull out to a commanding fourth quarter lead.
Sabally, whose trade from the Dallas Wings the Phoenix Mercury was reported during the game, sealed the victory with a game-winning three-pointer.
The Rose have struggled to put up consistent defense so far in their inaugural Unrivaled season. Reese and her team fall to 1-4 as they head into a Saturday night contest against Alyssa Thomas, Jackie Young and the undefeated Laces.
The Phantoms meanwhile improve to 2-3 and will look to climb to .500 on the season with a win over Jewell Loyd, Breanna Stewart and the winless Mist on Monday.
