Sabalenka is no stranger to this stage at Flushing Meadows — with a win this weekend, she could complete a US Open three-peat. The Belarusian will be facing a familiar foe in Elena Rybakina, who she lost the Australian Open title to earlier this year. Can Sabalenka return to glory?
On the other hand, Rybakina is entering brand-new territory. Despite appearing in the US Open main draw seven times, the 27-year-old has never made it past the Round of 16. 2nd-seeded Rybakina has been lethal in this campaign though, defeating former US Open champions Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff on the way to the final.
