Mikaela Mayer and Chantelle Cameron put the WBC, WBA, and WBO super-welterweight belts on the line in one of the highest-quality fights of 2026.
Mayer became a three-weight champion when she beat Canada’s Mary Spencer last time out, but has experienced mixed fortunes against British opposition.
The American was controversially beaten via split decision when she challenged for Natasha Jonas’ IBF welterweight title in Liverpool in January 2024, although she was on the right end of a contested call when she took the WBO crown at 147 pounds from Sandy Ryan eight months later.
Mayer beat Ryan more convincingly in their rematch but arguably faces the toughest test of her decorated career against Cameron.
The Northampton star remains the only woman to defeat Katie Taylor as a professional. A majority-decision loss in their rematch proved hard for Cameron to absorb. Everything about this fight feels hard to call – apart from the fact that it will almost certainly be hard to call.
Both of Mayer’s career losses, to bitter rival Alycia Baumgardner and Jonas, have come via disputed split decisions. Cameron’s rematch loss to Taylor only arrived via majority decision after she was denied a first-round knockdown.
To an extent, the two boxers’ fighting styles reflect their personalities. Mayer, someone naturally at home in the spotlight and when giving a fight the hard sell, is all action, tough and a relentless operator over two-minute rounds.
Cameron is an advocate for three-minute rounds in women’s boxing and, when you see her boxing with authority and venom at range, it’s easy to see why. This clash of styles will gel pleasingly for the fans but might be a nightmare for the judges over the high-octane distance of 10 twos.
Mayer’s volume and refusal to take no for an answer could hold sway, but Cameron might be the hardest puncher she’s been in with, certainly over the duration of a fight.
If Cameron is able to box at her preferred range and establish a distance with accurate and spiteful shots, she should get the job done. But she certainly will not have it all her own way in a fight where the final bell will not end the argument.

After a torrid final couple of rounds against Bo Mi Re Shin last March, Dubois was frustrated in her unification triumph over compatriot Terri Harper. She floored her foe but could not close the show en route to a decision win.
Alycia Baumgardner is expected to be ringside to call out a superfight with Dubois, but Moore is a live challenger in this one. Despite her limited experience as a professional, Moore was a part of the United States’ Olympic setup and will be coming to win.
Reina Tellez vs. Jessica Barry

Tellez returns to action after taking the great Amanda Serrano the distance in January.
That’s the American’s only defeat as a pro and she should have too much for Barry, who has amassed her fine record in relatively modest company.
Terri Harper vs. Miranda Reyes

Harper continues her weight-surfing career by dropping down to 140 pounds in the wake of defeat to Dubois and the loss of her welterweight title.
Reyes has rebounded with back-to-back victories following her defeats to Dubois and Stephanie Han.
Tysie Gallagher vs. Brandi Robinson
- Division/Weight: Super bantamweight
- Gallagher record: 10-2
- Robinson record: 5-0
Gallagher claimed a career-best win last time out with a victory over the previously undefeated Ellie Hellewell to win the British title and retain her Commonwealth strap.
Robinson, who has competed across karate and other combat disciplines, is undefeated as a pro and boxes outside of the United States for the first time.
