Texas Motor Speedway will host NASCAR for a tripleheader weekend in 2027. On Wednesday, Texas announced its race dates for the 2027 NASCAR season. Just like the 2026 season, the venue will only have one date. Earlier in the year, Chase Elliott roared to victory in front of a packed house.
The tripleheader weekend will take place from August 30 to May 2, with the NASCAR Truck Series kicking off the action on Friday. Then, the NASCAR O’Reilly Series will compete on Saturday on the first day of May. Finally, the NASCAR Cup Series closes out the weekend with a bang on Sunday.

Several tracks have made their announcements for the 2027 NASCAR season, and Texas joins a long list of venues that have no changes. Texas works well at the end of April and beginning of May. NASCAR won’t return to Texas during the 2026 season, so race fans are already looking forward to 2027.
