Min Woo Lee has always named Tiger Woods as one of his golfing idols.
That’s no surprise at all, given what Woods has achieved throughout his career in the game.
The 50-year-old won an incredible 82 times on the PGA Tour during his career, including 15 major championships.

Min Woo Lee has made a fine start to his own career, with one PGA Tour win and three DP World Tour victories to his name so far.
And the 28-year-old has the talent required to go on and become one of the very best golfers on the planet.

However, there is a lot of room for improvement in Min Woo Lee’s game, and he has admitted that himself.
In spite of his own standing in the game, Min Woo Lee is still taken aback every single time he meets Tiger Woods.
What Min Woo Lee noticed about Tiger Woods after meeting him in June
Woods has, and always has had, a serious aura about him.
When he enters a room, his presence is felt immediately, and Min Woo Lee is still in awe of the great man whenever he meets him.

While speaking on the DP World Tour’s official YouTube channel, the 28-year-old Australian opened up on something he noticed about Woods when meeting him at the Travelers Championship back in June.
“I played a practice round with him at the US Open a few years back,“ Min Woo Lee said.
“That was really cool. That was one of the cooler moments of my life.

“I picked his brain a little bit. He was kind of like a bit hurt, but he was still flushing it. If he’s flushing it, then, like, when he was healthy, how good did he actually hit it?
“So, it was cool to see how good he was even in a practice round and I got to share some cool moments with him.

“He’s obviously helping the PGA Tour, with all the board meetings and stuff.
“I saw him a couple weeks ago at the Travelers, and he looks really good.“
Min Woo Lee comments on proposed new PGA Tour schedule
The Australian delivered his verdict on the new PGA Tour schedule which will come into play in 2028.
“I know they’re compacting a little bit, but I think we can choose, or mix and match if we wanted to,“ he said.
“It’ll be like maybe three weeks on one week off, three weeks on etc.
“I’m not sure whether that’s confirmed, but it looks pretty good. All the tournaments are going to be evenly spread.

“So it’s not like you need to play this Signature Event or that one, and obviously it’s kind of around the majors, so you can choose and pick the courses you want to play.
“I’m excited. I mean, I think it needed to happen, a little bit of a refresh. Yeah, something needed to happen.
“The tournaments got, I guess, too small, with 70-man fields, and now it’s going to be 120-man fields. So, I think it’s going to be good, yeah.“
