Fans arriving at Pocono Raceway this weekend won’t have to look far to find reminders of Kyle Busch’s legacy.
From massive “ROWDY” signage overlooking the garage area to a permanent place on the track’s Walk of Fame, the Pennsylvania track has transformed multiple parts of the facility into a tribute to one of the winningest drivers in NASCAR history.

Busch died unexpectedly on May 21 after a severe case of pneumonia progressed into sepsis. He was 41 years old.
As NASCAR returns to Pocono for the first time since Busch’s death, the track is honoring the two-time Cup Series champion in a way few drivers ever have been.
Pocono celebrates one of its most successful drivers
Few drivers enjoyed more success at Pocono Raceway than Busch.
Across NASCAR’s three national series, Busch won eight races at the “Tricky Triangle,” including four Cup Series victories. His Cup wins at the 2.5-mile track came in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021.
To commemorate that legacy, Pocono Raceway announced this week that Busch has been added to the track’s Walk of Fame. The display features commemorative stones recognizing some of the most accomplished drivers in the facility’s history.

Busch’s stone sits alongside other NASCAR greats and serves as a permanent reminder of his impact on the sport and the track.
The tribute extends well beyond the Walk of Fame.
Pocono has installed special signage throughout the facility, including a large “ROWDY” display flanked by two No. 8s above the entrance to the garage area. The track has also painted “ROWDY” across the frontstretch near the start-finish line.
Photos shared by the track show multiple Busch tributes placed throughout the property as fans begin arriving for race weekend.
Kyle Busch’s history at Pocono made him a natural choice
The decision to honor Busch in such a visible way reflects the connection he built with Pocono over nearly two decades of competition.

In addition to his four Cup Series wins, Busch captured Truck Series victories at the track and routinely contended for race wins across NASCAR’s national divisions.
One of the most memorable victories of his career came at Pocono in 2023, when he delivered the 100th and final Truck Series victory for Kyle Busch Motorsports before the organization was sold.
The tributes come during an emotional period for Busch’s family and the NASCAR community. Earlier this month, Busch’s 11-year-old son, Brexton, returned to competition and participated in tribute events honoring his father at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Now, as NASCAR heads to Pocono, one of Busch’s most successful tracks is ensuring his legacy remains front and center.

Busch’s impact on Pocono Raceway was already written into the record book. This weekend, it’s written across the property itself.
For fans making the trip to the Tricky Triangle, the tributes serve as a reminder of just how much the two-time Cup Series champion meant to the track, the sport, and generations of NASCAR fans.
